- Virginia Tech @ Miami: Miami undefeated but unconvincing; VT playing well. VT 24-20
- Penn St @ Michigan St: Penn St too good and pulls away. Penn St 24-14
- Stanford @ Washington St: No healthy Love; WSU's home D does enough. Wash St 28-24
- Arizona @ USC: USC gets a couple more stops. USC 42-31
- LSU @ Alabama: Alabama too strong. Alabama 31-14
- South Carolina @ Georgia: SEC East isn't that good; UGA wins easily. Georgia 28-14
- UCF @ SMU: SMU turned around but not enough. UCF 45-31
- Bedlam — Oklahoma @ Oklahoma St: The upset year; OK St in Stillwater. Ok St 45-39
